Day 1Belgrade

Arrival in Belgrade – the capital of Serbia, the city of culture, celebrates a rich mix of culture, architecture, natural combination of oriental passion and European finesse. Transfer to your hotel.
Panoramic sightseeing by bus of Belgrade – an ancient city with a charming mix of medieval and modern architecture. Visit the remarkable Kalemegdan Fortress and one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the Balkans – the St. Sava Cathedral. Stroll along the Knez Mihailova pedestrian street to meet Belgrade’s cultural and historical wealth; get to know its legendary reputation of a fantastic host in remarkable world-class restaurants. Visit some of the best shops or simply enjoy a cup of coffee with Belgrade’s panorama. Enjoy in sightseeing of Serbia capital which gives the first impression of the most important Belgrade sights.

Day 2Belgrade – Half day following Tesla’s route and Rakia tour

Today will focus on Nikola Tesla’s steps as first is his museum – one of the best known in Belgrade and one of the world’s most unique scientific and cultural institution. There you will see Tesla’s valuable legacy with original documents, books, journals, photographs and personals belongings. After museum, tour takes to University of Belgrade’s School of Electrical Engineering. There you will see how did Tesla create lightning, how did he produce wireless energy and ball lightning.
Tour through the beginning of the electrification of Serbia, stories of power plants, interactive science center, model of solar system, and many different illusions are available in this old institution.
Later – Rakia tour in Belgrade with tasting of 5 types of famous Serbian spirit with Serbian appetizer on 2 locations. It is walking tour from one to another location

Overnight in Belgrade.

Day 3Belgrade – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad – Belgrad

After breakfast, departure to Sremski Karlovci, small baroque town on Fruska Gora slopes. Sremski Karlovci is most famous for its georgous vioneyards and most quality wines. Visit the town where to enjoy short walk through the city and also the view to the Patriarchy Court– the most monumental building of the 19th century in Vojvodina, Saborna church – one of the most beautiful example of the architecture of the 18th century, Gymnasium of Karlovci, Magistracy, Roman-Catholic church, fountain Four lions.
Visit to the Museum of beekeeping and winery Zivanovic and enjoy honey and wine tasting.
Proceed to Novi Sad. Afterward, proceed to the symbol of Novi Sad, fortification which was one of the main strategic points towards Turkey – Petrovaradin fortress. Walking tour and sightseeing tour in the city center of Novi Sad: Synagogue, Serbian National Theater, Square of Freedom with City Hall; continue the walk through the Street Zmaj Jovina to the Bishop’s Palace, then proceed to Danube street to Danube park.
Get back to Belgrade and overnight.

Day 4Belgrade – Topola – Oplenac – Belgrade

After breakfast departure to Topola. According to the legend, Topola, the birthplace of Karadjordjevic Dynasty, a small town in the very heart of Sumadija. The town of Topola is situated on the slopes of hill Oplenac. This small town rich in history will tell us a tale about royal family Karadjordjevic, whose history began here. Karadjordje Petrovic, the leader of the First Serbian Uprising and founder of the Karadjordjevic Royal dynasty was born here, beneath Oplenac. Tour of the memory complex comprising of the Saint George Church, Mausoleum of Karadjordjevic Dynasty and the house of the royal family. Famous gorgeous mosaics in the Church and in the crypt are the best achievements of fresco painting in Serbia.

Optional:
You will be able to confirm this by yourselves with a visit to the famous winery and tasting of 5 sorts of wines, with a magic view over the wine yards of Oplenac region.

Trip back to Belgrade.

Day 5Belgrade departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight back home
