Tour Itinerary:
Departure at 8.00 a.m. behind Alexander Nevski Cathedral. Drive to the village of Oreshak. Visit to Troyan Monastery and the National Exhibition of Folk Crafts and Applied Arts in the village of Oreshak. Troyan Monastery Dormition of Mother Mary is the third largest monastery in Bulgaria, founded in the end of the 16th century. It is famous for its miraculous icon the Virgin Mary, the Three-handed. It was a famous literary centre and contributed to the publishing of many books during the Bulgarian Revival period. Drive back to Sofia in the late afternoon.
