Day 1Arrive Sofia

Distance: 15 km

Arrival to Sofia airport. Meet and assist for transfer and accommodation at the hotel.
Next is sightseeing tour around Sofia and visit to the most interesting historical sights: the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the St. Sofia Church, which had given the name of the city and the historical and cultural center of the capital.
Overnight.

Day 2Sofia – Vitosha cable car – Sofia

Distance: 40 km

Buffet breakfast in the hotel.
Take the cable car up to Vitosha mountain. Walk along the forest to enjoy the spring greenery.
Afternoon free at leisure or shopping.
Overnight in Sofia.

Day 3Sofia – Veliko Tarnovo

Distance: 220 km

Buffet breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to Veliko Tarnovo – the old capital of Bulgaria. Visit Tsarevets Castle and enjoy beautiful panoramic view over the Yantra river valley.
Visit the Wax museum and walk along the old town of Veliko Tarnovo with shopping opportunities of beautiful hand made goods or food on the Samovodene crafts street.
Accommodation and overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.

Day 4Veliko Tarnovo – Madara – Kulevcha – Stone Forest – Varna

Distance: 220 km

Buffet breakfast in the hotel.
Departure to Madara and visit the UNESCO listed Madara Rider. It is one of the strongest energy zones in Europe like Stonehenge.
Lunch in an eco complex of Kulevcha – delicious homemade vegetarian meals and bread. Hosts are specialists in herbs picking. They will tell more about herbs which can be found in the area and their curative effects on the human’s body.
In the afternoon – departure to the sea capital of Bulgaria – Varna. En route visit of Stone Forest – unique natural phenomena. The legend says that visiting this place helps women to get pregnant.

Day 5Varna

Distance: 10 km

Sightseeing tour of the Bulgarian sea capital – Varna. Walk along the main pedestrian street and the beautiful Sea Garden. Visit the national Archeological Museum, there the oldest processed gold in the world is stored.
Overnight in Varna.

Day 6Varna – Balchik – Kaliakra – Varna

Distance: 120 km

Buffet breakfast in the hotel.
Full day excursion to Balchik Palace which have been the summer residence of Romanian Queen Maria. Visit of the Balchik Botanical garden with more than 3000 species of plants and about 250 species of cactuses. The Botanical garden is the second largest garden in Europe.
Visit also Kaliakra cape with the medieval fortress.
Return back to Varna for overnight.

Day 7Varna

Distance: 20 km

Buffet breakfast in the hotel.
Visit Varna Dolphinarium to attend Dolphin’s Show.
Afternoon free at leisure or shopping.
Overnight in Varna.

Day 8Varna – Nessebar – Burgas

Distance: 110 km

Buffet breakfast in the hotel.
Departure to Nessebar – UNESCO listed historical town located on the sea shore. Walk along the romantic stone streets of the old town and enjoy beautifull sceneries over the harbor.
Accommodation and overnight in Burgas, which is (according the the Bulgarian media society) the best place to live in Bulgaria.

Day 9Burgas – Sozopol – Ravadinovo Castle – Ropotamo river boat trip – Burgas

Distance: 90 km

Buffet breakfast in the hotel.
Departure to Sozopol and visit Ravadinovo castle, located nearby.

Next is boat trip along Ropatamo River – it is a protected area (National park), where you can see rear species of plants and animals.
Return back to Burgas for overnight.

Day 10Burgas – Plovdiv

Distance: 250 km (only highway)

Departure for Plovdiv – the oldest city in Europe still existing today. It was called Philippopolis in the IV century B.C. in honor of King Philip II of Macedonia. Today the city is a cultural center of Bulgaria and selected as European Capital of Culture for 2019. We will visit the old part of the town with its romantic coble stone streets.

Free time for walk along the main pedestrian shopping street.
Accommodation and overnight in Plovdiv.

Day 11Plovdiv – Dorkovo – Velingrad

Distance: 85 km

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Velingrad – one of the most popular Bulgarian SPA resort located in the Rhodope Mountains. There are more than 90 mineral water springs with curative and preventive properties in and around the town.
En route visit to the carpet factory in Kostandovo village – the only one which produces giant carpets. Some of their clients are world celebrities as Queen Elizabeth II, Mick Jagger, etc.
Free time for lunch or rest in Dorkovo Village.
Arrival in Velingrad and accommodation at the hotel selected. Free time for SPA and relax.
Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for SPA and relax in the hotel.
Overnight.

Day 14Velingrad – Sofia

Distance: 130 km

After breakfast – Departure to Sofia. Free time for shopping. Overnight.

Day 15Depart Sofia

Distance: 15 km

After breakfast – transfer to the airport and flight back home.
